I was so excited when I picked out these pillows! Unfortunately, I was disappointed to say the least when they arrived. I wasn't sure how both pillows fit into such a small box. They were folded in half! After opening them from their plastic, and trying repeatedly to "fluff" them into a pillow shape, I realized it was no use. Sadly, these are the flattest pillows I've ever seen. I would not recommend them! We returned them and purchased memory foam pillows instead- AMAZING!

Very nice pillows. I ordered the 34 ounce, rather than the 27 ounce, based on another review, but actually found the 34 ounce to be a little too much fluff for my liking. I sleep on my side/stomach so I like my pillows a little flatter. The pillows are very well made and the gel fibers are very nice to sleep on. I would recommend these.

These pillows are super cozy, I love them to death. They were def. worth the price. They are very squishy, not firm at all. So if your looking for firm pillows, these arent for you. However, they conform to your body, so although they are soft, they still provide alot of support. Get em, you'll love em!

I enjoyed this soup. Yes we would all like fresh Pho soup. If you are in the area that we live you will not find a Vietnamese restaurant for 100 miles. I made the soup and added fresh bean sprouts, fresh cilantro, fresh green onions and strips of cooked steak. This is a basic soup for you to add things to it....not to expect when you open it strips of steak are going to appear from the box. Bein an avid Pho indulger I had to try Annie Chun's version. I'm in the middle of no where, no local Pho restaurants here.

Being freeze dried and not fresh I have to say it came a little close to the smell and taste of authentic pho. It was however missing the thin strips of steak, all the veggies, and of course the fresh noodles. It definitely quenched my desire for Pho. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It's a good substitute, but would never truly be the real deal. I say go for it!

Pros: This will bend in all directions, unlike a previous review declared. It's pretty stiff, so it does not wobble around while driving (I have a Toyota Camry unmodified from factory...meaning, it has not been lowered, nor does it have any strange suspension issues that would contribut to extra "shaking" of this holder.) I was a bit disappointed at first, when it would not sit tight inside the lighter space. After examining it for a bit, I saw that it has this really cool adjustment that will allow it to expand in the lighter space for an extremely tight fit. Wish it had instructions to advise of this feature because it's a pretty nice one. Was better than I expected. Great Mount!

Cons: Need multiple pictures on amazon. Need to include instructions on amazon, on their web site, or in the box. Seems easy but I don't like to guess at whether or not the neck is supposed to bend. Maybe I'm not doing something right, but the phone clip pulls out of the attachment when I remove the phone (not sure how it's supposed to be secured, although it's nothing a bit of Marine goop won't fix.)

This was the second car mount I purchased because the first one didn't fit well into my recessed plug. The weird overhang on the console didn't help it either. I am glad I got this car mount. It is sturdier than my last one and long enough to plug into my car, a 2001 Lexus RX300, while managing to clear the overhang. I love that I can turn it vertically or horizontally very easily plus it takes a USB and phone charger.

This monitor is an excellent value and I am happy with it. It replaced an HP monitor that cost much more, was smaller and gave only 5 yrs of service before failing.

The aspect ratio is wider and takes a little getting used to. It was very bright out of the box, but that was quickly adjusted using the built-in on screen menu. It uses cold cathode florescent backlight instead of the new led, but it still has the energy star approval, and the color definition and black depth is good for me.

I think the "glossy" in the product's description refers to the bezel because the screen is definitely matte. My last monitor was a Samsung 206BW that failed (a capacitor issue). For the 2-3 years it lasted, I really liked the picture (as well as loving my 52" Samsung LCD) so I decided to give Samsung another chance. I wanted a larger size monitor mainly for photo editing that I do in Photoshop and Lightroom. For two hundred bucks, I could not be happier with this unit. I was almost going to buy an HP 2309 or 2509 monitor because it also has a great looking screen, but after comparing in-store, I wanted a matte screen because I think it's easier to resolve finer detail on a matte screen.

All I can say is that the brightness and colors of this monitor are great. I can see where some people might find the default settings a bit too bright but I prefer a brighter screen. The only fault I found with the default settings were that the colors were a bit flat. Once MagicTune was installed though, I set the gamma to Mode 3 and MagicColor to "intelligent" and am very happy with the picture I am getting. I'm using Windows 7 so I had to download the driver and MagicTune off the internet (the supplied CD-ROM seems to be more for pre-Windows 7 machines). I also had to reboot my laptop before 1920x1080 was an available resolution, but that's not the monitor's fault (not that it's a big deal to reboot anyhow). Some people might also complain of this monitor's lack of HDMI, but I was already using a HDMI-to-DVI cable so no biggie. I have separate speakers so I can't comment on the monitor's speakers. Nor can I comment on gaming performance (i.e. ghosting or lack thereof) or movie performance. I only use this for everyday tasks and photo editing.

After having this monitor for a couple days, I can easily say that I still would have given it 5 stars even if it would have cost upwards of 250. I'm glad I didn't blindly order a glossy screen from some place online. Don't get me wrong, glossy screens can look excellent, but I find matte more accurate for photo editing, and this monitor is not lacking color, contrast, brightness, saturation, etc. I think my only beef with the MagicTune software is the calibration feature. It shows test patterns and allows you to adjust things, but gives no explanation as to what you should be trying to achieve. But with the settings I chose (that I previously mentioned), I can tell that I'm getting a pretty accurate picture based on past experience from the myriad of photos that I've been looking at (and have had printed).

Not sure what else to say. I really love this monitor and am glad I bought it.

As an aside, I am not fond of the touch controls. Some people like them, but they are difficult to see when the room light is not bright.

I'm new to Fiesta. I've never owned it. I had never even seen it in person before until I went to the store (which you MUST DO if you're new to the line because the colors are NOTHING like the digital online pics show) to see colors in person. I LOVED it.

I needed new dinnerware (sending my 30 year old WHITE Corelle off to college with my son...since it's virtually unbreakable. 30 years old! seriously!)and decided on Fiestaware because of all the beautiful colors (yay! color!) and great reviews. I bought this salad plate and must say, that would be an awfully small salad. We use these for bread plates or a sandwich plate. It's most definitely not large enough for a salad. I purchased these in Tangerine (bright orange), Ivory (which is an antique Ivory...more on the yellow side of Ivory) and Paprika (absolutely GORGEOUS color...under different lighting it looks red-ish, rusty, or red-orange/orange-red) and we just love them. If you're looking at the salad plate to buy it, just know it's too small for a real salad, but is PERFECT as a bread plate with dinner and looks great on a table.

When I got these, I was surprised there was no Fiesta name on the bottom of the plate. I wanted to make sure they were the non-lead glazed plates I had paid for. I contacted Fiesta, and they said they put the stamp on before glazing and then it gets hidden.

This was an awesome convenient way to purchase our infant's special formula. (He's had proper weight gain and a more pleasant disposition after switching to this.)
The only problem is that since Amazon is no longer carrying it or it's temporarily out of stock, we weren't able to rely on them for this. We have since switched to the autoship program directly from the manufacturer and it's the same price. I thought I was saving money buying it at Amazon but we weren't because of tax/shipping. However, if I buy books I do check to see if the formula is in stock because it is so hard to find and it's nice to have extra cans on hand in case I miscalculated the autoship dates.... If Amazon had it consistently, I'd buy a case of it and some books every month in one shipment. Too bad for them. We'll just get our books locally until I need something specific again.

Every year I buy a new humidifier, except this year. This year is the first time I used the same humidifier as last year.

You can check my reviews for other humidifiers, I've reviewed one or two others, and this is by far the best.

I had an ultrasonic humidifier, and it left a white dust all over everything, that I later learned gets into your lungs - you can imagine how fast I stopped using that humidifier. Also, the rubber gaskets that kept the water tanks full dried up over the summer and it was almost impossible to close the water tanks the next year.

I had a "wicking" humidifier, but why introduce something into your house that grows mold? The pads are expensive & have to be replaced regularly as the get moldy, even if you rinse them & use the special water additive. Why bother?

This humidifier is great. The two generous tanks last more than a full 24 hours. Each night when I replace the tanks, there's always some water left over in one of them (one empties earlier than the other - that's just physics, one tank will be minutely lower than the other & empty first).

There is a boiling water sound, which I've gotten used to. The built in hygrometer doesn't seem to do much - it's either on or off. The boiling water help heat the room, which is good since I primarily use it in the cold, dry winter months (cold air can't hold that much water, so there's little water in the outside air to transfer the warm indoor air). If I leave the bedroom door closed, it gets quite toasty in there at times.

A crust forms in the basin - that's all the stuff that's not going in to the air (that would be if you used an ultrasonic humidifier). Mine is mostly rust colored and is made up, presumably, of rust - we live in an old building. This is annoying to clean out every few days, but relative to other humidifiers, clean up here isn't so bad.

There's small round cotton discs that protect the heating element, and you'll want to stock up on those. Luckily they're amazingly cheap and come like 5 or 10 to a pack.

So let's review.

- No expensive pads like a wicking humidifier, just cheap pads.
- No risk of mold, which is a constant battle with a wicking humidifier.
- No white dust that gets into your lungs like an ultrasonic humidifier.
- Survived the summer to be used in the next year, I expect it to survive another year to be used next year too - YAY!
- Two large tanks last 24 hours.
- Boiling water sound, could be a negative if you're a sensitive sleeper.
- Warm water warms the room, which helps in the winter.
- Must be cleaned thoroughly every few days, which is annoying, but doable. Just be sure to keep water out of the fan.
- A UV lamp (which I haven't had to replace yet) claims to kill germs - this may or may not be true. Eventually you're supposed to replace the bulb, but I haven't had to yet.

This is a great humidifier, It is a little noisy, but just sounds like bubbling water. The mineral pads keep the "white dust" problem to a minimum, and the UV light, kills anything in the water. My only issue is with Amazon. You have a package deal with the Protec tank insert mineral reducer balls and the Honeywell HM-12 Pads. Well, the manual of the humidifier states "do not use in tank mineral reducers" and the Honeywell HM-12 pads are too big!!! Luckily for us amazon has the free return service, but you guys should research the package deals better. Buyer beware!

Wenger SA9715 Black & Silver Review by Ann E. Revelle (Los Alamos, New Mexico)

I have just purchased this Swissgear SA9715 backpack (Black/gray and also available in several other color combinations, but with the same overall design at $34.95 shipped and now $69.95!) along with the SA9735 (Royal blue at $34.95 shipped and now $79.95!) and also the Swissgear Wenger Maxxum model (available in red, blue and gray {but not currently available} at $49.95 shipped and now $70.95 + ~$10 for shipping!). By far the Maxxum is the superior backpack of these three computer laptop/notebook bags for protection of your valuable laptop computer which is after all the primary purpose of these items, but each of the other two bags also have their advantages too.

SA9715 (fits MOST 15.4 inch laptops)- Good light and long bag (~3 lbs), with an ok carrying handle and with only limited storage in two large bins (one for the laptop with velcro seals which was not a lot of protection in my opinion- you would probably benefit from a neoprene computer sleeve for better overall protection). Carrying heavy loads was far better for me with this bag than with the SA9735 discussed below even without a chest or hip belt. It doesn't stand vertically very well for packing purposes however.

SA9735 (fits MOST 15.4 inch laptops)- A better bag (~4 lbs), with a good carrying handle and with only one additional large zippered storage area, but with a better plastic snap for improved securing of your laptop). Carrying a lot of weight was definitely an issue for me with this bag however even with its 22+ pockets, but no chest or hip belt- contrary to the picture for the Maxxum/Synergy/Pegasus style laptop put there incorrectly by a laptop purchaser on Amazon! It also has some difficulty standing vertically when packed.

Swissgear Wenger Maxxum (fits MOST 15.4 inch laptops)- The best of these three by far (4 lbs, 3 ounces), but heavier/heftier. but with a very strong reinforced carrying handle placed centrally at the top of the bag for balance (and a trolley handle too at the very back of the top of the bag to boot!) and a fine heavy plastic support for your laptop (and their Comp-U-Flex support system for keeping a laptop off the bottom of the bag when it is put down or even when carried) and better placement of the computer away from your back with better back support too for carrying very heavy loads. It is quite heavy to lift, but very light to carry in my opinion. It does come with a chest belt (but not with a hip belt however) that is not placed low enough on the carrying supports, but at least the tension imposed on your chest can be readily adjusted. It has a fine base stabilizing platform and easily stands to be packed too. It also has a very large central zipped pocket, an ipod/mp3/mp4/radio pouch (zippered) and an no-zipper Kangaroo pouch for rapid storage and removal of a camera, a jacket, etc. and almost anything else that you might want in a computer laptop backpack.

Someone however desperately needs to organize all of these Swissgear products by their SA number and not by their color because you simply can't rely on either the selling price or on the MSRP (price as suggested from the manufacturer) as an indicator for the best quality bags available and for what specific purpose they are needed (size of the laptop that will definitely fit in each bag, waterproof ability, durability, dimensions of the bag itself (L X W X H), belt supports, colors available, etc.). In addition, a number of customers have posted incorrect and multiple photos with these bags which makes it equally tough to make a good decision without reading a very large number of detailed reviews for the same bag, but available only in different colors and thus which are listed in multiple and quite separate reviews! Some of these listings do not always come up in Amazon's search engine each time either depending on their current availability (by color again!) from the manufacturer and their relative sales ranking which can change hourly!

For example by reading and comparing information on Amazon with the Wengerna website you will find that the only major difference of the Maxxum as compared to the Synergy backpack model is an extra volume of 18" by 1 " and of course slightly different pocket dimensions and overall shape designs. Someone (at Swissgear/Wenger?) definitely needs to rank all these Swissgear backpack models systematically with their properties and a correct photo so that the buying public can make more informed choices without having to buy 3 bags to find one that will do the job that you want done!

Received this unit in a very well packaged box. Best I have seen for a product this size. There were no dents, scrapes or cracks in the wood pieces. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, only three of the 4 legs actually fit snug. As a hobbyist woodworker, I was able to take it into my workshop and fabricate a small shim to stabilize the fourth leg. The biggest complaint is the metal hook assembly. Do not get me wrong, they are very stout and the attachment to the wood shaft is very sound. The problem is the finish is very poor. Poor in the fact that the units looked as though the finish was applied after the metal had developed major surface corrosion for some time (i.e., left in the rain for weeks). You could actually see and feel the the rust coming through the applied antique finish. So bad that if used as received, any delicate clothing materials (knits, polyester, rayon, etc.) would easily snare on the hooks. I ended up sanding all the corrosion off the hooks and then applying a clearcoat to protect the metal and prevent any further corrosion from developing. Realizing the product was made in China, I expected such a flaw. Over the years, the U.S. has outsourced such products to China, and with it any demand for quality control. Do not expect high quality, especially in anything that deals with metal (China uses a cheaper quality of steel in just about every product I have purchased over the years that originates from China--tools, workbenches, sporting equipment), and any wood product that requires tight tolerances for fit & finish. Also, the actual finish is a one-step stain-topcoat combination. Meaning this is not a stained wood product that is then covered with a clear topcoat finsh. I found this out by accident when I was rubbing down the unit to remove some "gunk" that was on one of the fluted areas, and the finish along an edge rubbed off very easily leaving a untreated bare unstained area. Again, I was able to repair that leading edge with a combination of some hardware store furniture touch up kits. As long as you understand that "China made" equates to "marginal quality", then this product will not disappoint you. If you ask whether I would buy this unit again? Possibly, only because I do not have the jigs and lathe to build my own. It is solid and looks sharp after some woodworking TLC.

As a 6ft2 mum i was delighted to find that this stroller has a lovely tall handle (adjustable for those who dont need it so high) and also a base that is wide enough for my long stride. No more kicking the back wheels! Compacts down enough to fit in the boot of our Prius and plenty of storage underneath. Only thing missing is a pocket on the back of the canopy for items too big for the drink tray but to precious for the basket (eg wallets).

When we use this stroller I tell my daughter we're going in her "luxury" stroller because it is a much smoother ride than the more lightweight Inglesina Swift we have. It is very easy for me to steer (even one-handed when necessary), and the basket underneath holds a good deal. The cup-holder is large enough for my Kleen Kanteen bottle, but not for a larger sports bottle. The other storage compartment is large enough for an iPhone & a large set of keys. It is also nice that the handle adjusts easily.
Despite all of this, we rarely use this stroller anymore because it is too heavy. We live in an apartment & have nowhere ground-level to store it, so I have to carry it down 5 steps, and with a baby I had to carry and now a toddler who is just learning to navigate steps on her own, this is tough. When I hurt my wrist doing it, I bought a lighter-weight stroller. Also, I rarely took it when we went anywhere because it takes up the entire trunk of our Honda Civic & it's a bit hard to get it in there. Other cons: It is also a bit of a challenge to fold if you are holding a baby. You basically have to fold it down to the ground & then bend down to hoist the thing up or use a leg to push it closed. So, while it's possible to fold one-handed, it's not easy. Finally, the storage basket is virtually useless if you have the seat fully reclined to accommodate a sleeping baby or an infant car seat. There's very little space to access it.
If I could store this stroller on ground level & not have to fold it up (if I had a garage or shed, for instance), I would fully love this stroller.

We got this stroller as a baby shower gift to go with our Chicco KeyFit 30 carseat, and it has worked wonderfully. The best part about this stroller is the ease of use - the folding handle really can be done with only one hand if needed. Unlike another reviewer, we have not had any trouble with handling/steering and we have taken this stroller everywhere! It even held up on a recent vacation to the beach - no problems steering or mantaining movement on unlevel sand. While there are times that a smaller stroller is needed (the Chicco Liteway is our choice), we still use this stroller on a very regular basis. It has great storage space under the seat, multiple cup holders, a fully padded reclining seat, and a mult-positional handle for parent's comfort. We also like that the tray insert can be easily removed for cleaning since my little one is messy. We wouldn't change a thing about this stroller.
